A brain tumor is an abnormal growth of cells in the brain. These tumors can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous), and they can originate from brain tissue itself (primary tumors) or spread from other parts of the body (metastatic tumors). Surgery is the most common treatment for brain tumors, and in a lot of cases it’s the only treatment needed. There are numerous surgical approaches to remove brain tumors depending on their size and location.
